Summary: Ellevation is a supplement program provided to all teachers with at least one English Learner (EL) in their classroom. It is available to any teacher that has more than one (1) Bilingual/ESL student enrolled in their classroom. The objective of our work is to help support classroom teachers by identifying EL students and embedding classroom activities to meet language acquisition needs. The following data is meant to report on Instructional Strategies usage in order to deepen three essential areas of Ellevation implementation: (1) District Support & Alignment, (2) Sustained Professional Learning, and (3) High-Quality Instruction.
As the below information shows, there is a foundation for success within BISD. Since the start of the school year, the line of usage has continued to build and steadily increase. The increase of usage includes multiple users such as Deans, Specialists, and Teachers. This type of steady increase engagement is what we expect to see from our largest partners, as we continue to build champions within the District.
