As the BISD Bilingual Team, we ensure students in need of Bilingual/ESL services are equipped with technology and learning resources to support language acquisition. Our resources' efficacy increases when School Leadership creates a "digital age learning culture" that supports students' instructional language and learning styles. The learner centered environment is nurtured through the campus long-term action plan that shows: evidence of blended learning opportunities, empowerment of teachers to use technology resources, stakeholders' facilitation and/ or participation in professional development opportunities, continued maintenance of and budgeting for instructional resources, ease of access to technology equipment for classroom use, and on-demand classroom instructional technology support. Promoting a digital age learning culture provides teachers the opportunity to utilize blending learning with our digital natives.
