English Language Learners (ELL) are the fastest growing population in US schools, and yet, too often their unique educational needs are unmet. Hoonuit has modules to help teachers and administrators better understand and meet those needs. Hoonuit’s ELL modules focus on the unique needs of English learners and what educators can do to best support their academic achievement. From supporting ELLs with targeted instructional strategies and analyzing the demands of the college and career-readiness standards, to identifying both challenges and opportunities with which these standards present ELLs and their teachers. Hoonuit also has modules that discuss the legal protection extended to English Learners and their families in order to promote meaningful participation in educational programs and access to high-quality education, regardless of their English language proficiency.
